Ghee price in Lucknow: 250 ml, 500 ml or 1 litre?

Pure ghee takes a lot of milk to make, so it costs far more than cooking oil. Prices also vary between sellers, so comparing by price per 100 ml is the fairest way.

KUMUD prices are ₹349 for 250 ml, ₹499 for 500 ml and ₹899 for 1 litre, with all taxes included. That works out to about ₹140 per 100 ml for the small jar, about ₹100 for the middle jar and about ₹90 for the 1 litre jar.

If you cook with ghee every day, the 1 litre jar is the best value. If you are trying it for the first time, start with 250 ml. The 500 ml jar suits a small family.
